Everyone has a story to share and Lam Research was looking to do just that. Lam Research, in its pursuit of innovation, wanted to highlight the work being done to inspire the next generation through its CuBu program. CuBu Program is geared towards African American and Latin American students in Silicon Valley who are being mentored by employee resource groups at Lam Research.
To highlight the great work of Lam Research, we first met with their team to discuss their vision for the short documentary. From this conversation, our team crafted a storyboard that aligned with Lam Research’s theme. Our team visited Lam Research during their CuBu Program. We captured interviews and elements of the entire event. During post-production, we threaded the storyline together with graphics, statics, and a voiceover to create a video representation of what their program is all about.
By highlighting the CuBu Program at Lam Research, they can use the short documentary for their digital marketing needs. One result of the documentary is how it increased employee morale through appreciation and discussion of the program. In terms of marketing, this short documentary can be used in a few ways. One way is to reach more students in this digital age. Another is to use as documentation for fundraising and donation events.
